Scottsdale’s Woodchuck Opens Crowdfunding Round to Scale AI-powered Waste-to-Energy Platform

Scottsdale-based Woodchuck is opening its next stage of growth to public investors.
The Arizona company announced a Regulation Crowdfunding offering through Fundify, allowing eligible accredited and non-accredited investors to participate in the company’s financing.
Public offering information indicates Woodchuck is targeting at least $100,000 and may raise up to approximately $1.05 million through the campaign.
Woodchuck operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence, construction and clean energy. Its platform uses AI and image-recognition technology to identify materials coming out of construction sites that can be recovered rather than discarded. The company prioritizes reuse and remanufacturing, while suitable residual wood can be directed toward renewable-energy applications.
That combination makes Woodchuck an interesting Arizona startup to watch.
Arizona is experiencing enormous construction activity across semiconductor facilities, data centers, advanced manufacturing projects and broader population-driven development. Technologies that make those construction and industrial systems more efficient have an unusually relevant proving ground here.
The company also illustrates the breadth of Arizona’s emerging technology ecosystem. Not every AI startup needs to build software for an office worker. Applying AI to physical industries such as construction, logistics, energy and waste could become an important part of Arizona’s Silicon Oasis identity.
The crowdfunding campaign provides Woodchuck another source of capital as it works to scale that model.
