Grape ID Goes Open Source Built in AZ, Shared with the World

By : Kyle Macdonald , Co-Founder of Silicon Oasis Rob Andersen , founder of Grape ID and a Silicon Oasis Ambassador , just dropped major news: after 7 years of building and pioneering Identity Agent technology, Grape ID is donating its code to the LF Decentralized Trust (LFDT) — launching a new open-source project called the Identity Agent Protocol ( IAP ) . This is a huge step for online security, privacy, and efficiency — and it’s happening right here with a leader from Arizona’s Silicon Oasis community. What is IAP? The Identity Agent Protocol is built to tackle today’s biggest digital pain points by enabling: No more robocalls or spam text s End-to-end encryption by default 100% email deliverability (after opt-in) Now that it’s going open-source under LFDT — a nonprofit focused on trust-first technologies — the door is wide open for developers, founders, and builders to join in. This is what ecosystem-driven innovation looks like.A founder builds something powerful, proves it works, then shares it with the world. The goal? Bring trust and efficiency back to the Internet — something we can all get behind. 📬 Want to stay on top of stories like this?
