Basata Celebrates New Tempe Headquarters and Its Next Chapter of Growth
By Kyle Macdonald, COO of Silicon Oasis
Arizona healthcare technology company Basata is marking a major milestone this month with the opening of its new office at Hayden Ferry Lakeside in Tempe.
On Wednesday, September 23, founders, healthcare leaders, technology professionals, and members of Arizona’s innovation community will gather for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration. Tempe Mayor Corey Woods will join Basata co-founders Kaled Alhanafi, Dr. Chetan Patel, and Dr. Vivan Paliath to officially open the company’s new home overlooking Tempe Town Lake.
The ribbon cutting begins at 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration from 2:30–5:00 PM featuring drinks, food, raffle prizes, swag, and live music.
Basata represents the kind of company increasingly defining Arizona’s technology ecosystem. The healthcare technology company develops AI tools for specialty medical practices, automating administrative processes including referrals, incoming documents, scheduling, and patient follow-up.
While much of the conversation around artificial intelligence focuses on the technology itself, companies like Basata demonstrate where its real-world impact can occur: solving specific operational problems and allowing organizations to work more efficiently.
For Arizona, seeing technology companies expand into new offices is another important indicator of ecosystem growth. Startups are being built here, hiring here, and establishing deeper roots in our communities.
That is how we continue building the Silicon Oasis—one company, founder, and milestone at a time.
The event is at the CLA Connections Center, 80 E Rio Salado Pkwy #101 in Tempe. RSVP is requested by September 16.
