AZ's Helia Care Raises $3M to Modernize Hospital Procurement
Arizona’s health tech ecosystem continues to scale — and Scottsdale-based Helia Care is one of the latest signals of that momentum. The medtech startup just closed a $3 million funding round led by In Revenue Capital and Habanero Ventures to expand its AI-powered medical device procurement platform. Helia Care helps hospitals manage bill-only medical transactions — one of the most complex and error-prone areas of healthcare purchasing — and reports saving hospitals an average of $1.85 million per location annually. Founder Grant Siders describes the platform as the “Amazon for critical care,” embedding directly into hospital workflows to reduce off-contract purchases, pricing errors, and administrative friction.
The company grew revenue 130% in 2025 and expects to onboard 60–100 additional hospitals this year, potentially generating over $100 million in annual savings across health systems. Helia Care’s growth reflects a broader trend: Arizona startups aren’t just raising capital — they’re solving infrastructure-level problems in major industries. 👉 Subscribe to the Silicon Oasis hard print magazine to read the full ecosystem stories shaping Arizona’s future .
