Startup Spotlight: Drive Health 🚑
Gilbert-based Drive Health is tackling one of the toughest challenges in health care: the nationwide nursing shortage. Backed by Google Public Sector, the startup has created Nurse Avery — an AI-powered assistant now being rolled out across 10 health care systems. Nurse Avery provides 24/7 multilingual support, helps with chart reviews, discharge instructions, and appointment scheduling, and even engages patients at the bedside through call buttons and room speakers. Built on Google’s secure cloud infrastructure, the system is fully HIPAA-compliant and designed to give medical teams critical support while improving patient experiences. Founded by Valley entrepreneur Kevin Longoria , Drive Health has already raised $7.1M and is preparing for a Series A round. Their vision: responsibly using AI to close care gaps in Arizona and beyond. 🌵💡 👉 Want more stories like this?
