By: Kyle Macdonald , COO of Silicon Oasis - Featuring Josue Romero as Live Reporter At Silicon Oasis, we’re proud to spotlight the innovation taking shape across our community pillars—including the powerful work coming out of the Southwest Mission Accelerator Center (SWMAC) . Their Spring 2025 Cohort, run in partnership with the Fuse Accelerator and Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub : Arizona , brought together some of the most promising early-stage defense tech startups in the region. Over the course of the program, these 11 companies engaged in an intensive journey of mentorship, field engagement, and strategic programming—all focused on aligning their technologies with urgent national security priorities. These startups weren’t just building products—they were building mission-aligned solutions, connecting directly with defense and public sector stakeholders to understand where innovation matters most.
