
Silicon Oasis Covers MLB Players Trust Event in Phoenix
Silicon Oasis was excited to join this year’s MLB Players Trust event in Phoenix , where athletes, entrepreneurs, educators, and young innovators gathered to explore how technology and sports can create new opportunities for the next generation.
The event showcased a strong focus on mentorship, youth innovation, and community impact. Throughout the day, the Silicon Oasis News Network met with several inspiring builders and organizations shaping the future of sports and education. Our team spoke with Jonathon Chambliss , the four winning students from Camelback High School who presented their AI-powered baseball mound concept, leaders from the Pathways Foundation , and representatives from the Teach for America Reinvention Lab .
The event highlighted how sports, technology, and education can intersect to inspire the next generation of innovators. Programs like these give students the chance to explore real-world applications of AI and engineering while connecting with mentors and professionals in the field.
