Silicon Oasis Ambassador Mahesh Vinayagam Leads qBotica Acquisition to Accelerate AI Expansion
Arizona’s AI ecosystem continues to gain momentum as one of its fastest-growing companies expands beyond state lines.
Phoenix-based qBotica has acquired Utah startup Automatiga, a move aimed at strengthening its capab ilities in agentic AI and enterprise automation.
The acquisition brings together qBotica’s robotic process automation platform with Automatiga’s “agent-first” software—technology designed to help enterprises deploy AI agents across chat, voice, and operational workflows. The combined platform is expected to deliver more autonomous, end-to-end solutions for industries like healthcare, financial services, and logistics.
Building the Agentic Enterprise
As part of the deal, qBotica is launching “qubi,” a new platform focused on collaborative AI agents capable of reasoning, adapting, and executing tasks in real time. The goal is to move beyond simple automation and toward fully autonomous enterprise systems.
CEO Mahesh Vinayagam—a Silicon Oasis Ambassador—described the acquisition as a step toward enabling “intelligent, autonomous operations that drive real business outcomes.”
Automatiga’s CEO, Rajeshkumar Ganesan, will join qBotica to lead product strategy, signaling a deeper integration of the two companies’ technologies and teams.
Rapid Growth in Arizona
Founded in 2017, qBotica has scaled quickly. The company now employs more than 150 people and has built a platform that automates repetitive office tasks while leveraging AI for document processing and data extraction.
Its growth has been recognized nationally. qBotica ranked No. 294 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 list in 2025, posting 261% revenue growth over a three-year period.
Locally, it was also named one of Arizona’s fastest-growing private companies, with revenue climbing from $4.82 million in 2022 to $11.83 million in 2024.
What’s Next
Following the acquisition, qBotica plans to continue investing heavily in AI agents, voice AI, and intelligent document processing. The company is also preparing for a future capital raise, expected in late 2026 or early 2027, to further accelerate its growth.
