Riovie Brings a Personalized Approach to Digital Healthcare

Arizona's health technology ecosystem continues to expand with the launch of Riovie, a new telehealth company founded by Nicola Lewis and James Lewis. Scheduled to launch in July 2026, Riovie is focused on making healthcare more accessible while helping patients better understand the factors that influence their overall well-being.

The company offers virtual access to licensed healthcare providers across several areas, including weight management, hormone optimization, gut health, metabolic peptide programs, and comprehensive laboratory testing. Beyond virtual care, Riovie aims to combine clinical services with educational resources designed to help individuals make informed, long-term decisions about their health.

Riovie was founded after Nicola Lewis experienced a significant personal health challenge that reshaped her perspective on patient care. That experience inspired the creation of a platform centered on supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey rather than simply providing access to treatment. James Lewis serves as co-founder and leads the company's technology and operational infrastructure, helping build the digital platform supporting Riovie's services.

The startup reflects a broader trend within Arizona's growing healthtech sector, where entrepreneurs are leveraging technology to improve patient access, streamline healthcare delivery, and create more personalized care experiences. By integrating telemedicine, laboratory services, educational content, and digital tools into a single platform, Riovie seeks to create a more connected healthcare experience for its users.

As Arizona continues to establish itself as a hub for innovation across healthcare and technology, companies like Riovie demonstrate how founder-driven startups are addressing evolving consumer needs through digital solutions. Their launch adds another emerging healthtech company to the state's growing innovation ecosystem.
