Phoenix-Based ServerLIFT Acquired by Justrite Safety Group as Data Center Demand Accelerates

Another Arizona-built company has reached an exit.

Phoenix-based ServerLIFT has been acquired by Justrite Safety Group, a global workplace safety company backed by Audax Private Equity. The transaction closed August 31, with financial terms undisclosed.

ServerLIFT has spent more than 20 years building specialized equipment used to safely install and move servers and other heavy technology infrastructure inside data centers.

That puts the company directly in the path of one of the biggest infrastructure trends happening today.

As investment in AI and cloud computing drives construction of increasingly large and sophisticated data centers, there's an entire ecosystem of companies supplying the physical infrastructure required to operate them. ServerLIFT has built a niche within that ecosystem from Phoenix.

American Pacific Group partnered with ServerLIFT and its founding Zuckerman family in December 2024. During APG's ownership, the company invested in new products, expanded manufacturing capabilities and strengthened its commercial organization as demand from data center operators increased globally.

ServerLIFT also expanded its executive team, naming John Spillane CEO and John McElroy CFO in 2025, while co-founder and former CEO Ray Zuckerman transitioned to chairman.

Now, Justrite Safety Group plans to use its global distribution network and safety platform to support ServerLIFT's next phase of expansion.

For Arizona, the deal is another example of why the technology ecosystem extends beyond software startups and venture capital.

ServerLIFT is an engineered-products company serving the physical infrastructure behind the digital economy. It was built in Phoenix, developed specialized intellectual property and manufacturing capabilities, attracted institutional private equity investment and has now been acquired by a larger global platform.

That's an Arizona success story.

It's also particularly relevant as Arizona itself becomes a major market for data centers, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing and AI infrastructure.

The companies capturing value from that growth won't only be the companies building chips or AI models. They'll include the manufacturers, suppliers and infrastructure businesses supporting everything underneath them.

ServerLIFT has been building exactly that kind of company in Phoenix for more than two decades.
