Freeberg Opens 160,000-square-foot Arizona Manufacturing Facility

Arizona’s advanced manufacturing footprint continues to expand along the Interstate 10 corridor.

Freeberg Industrial Fabrication has opened a new 160,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Eloy, more than doubling the company’s total footprint and establishing its largest facility to date.

The expansion represents up to $12 million in equipment, facility fit-out and related investment through 2026 and 2027. Freeberg has already hired 40 employees at the Eloy operation and expects that number to reach approximately 75 by the end of 2026 and 200 by the end of 2027.

The company manufactures sheet-metal and structural-steel components and provides engineering, welding, forming, painting and electro-mechanical assembly capabilities. At the Eloy facility, Freeberg will assemble reciprocating-engine power-generation packages and other large-scale electro-mechanical systems.

That work connects the expansion directly to some of Arizona’s fastest-growing technology infrastructure sectors. Freeberg serves data-center, power-generation and other infrastructure markets, placing its new operation within the supply chain supporting the continued buildout of compute and energy capacity across the Southwest.

Eloy also gives Freeberg a strategic position between Greater Phoenix and Tucson along Interstate 10, with access to regional labor markets, customers and transportation infrastructure.

Arizona’s Silicon Oasis is increasingly being built not only through software and startups, but through the physical manufacturing and energy systems required to support a technology-driven economy. Freeberg’s expansion adds another piece to that industrial foundation.
