💧 Startup Spotlight: Purity ReSource 🌵
Tempe-based Purity ReSource just closed a$681K seed round to tackle one of Arizona’s biggest challenges: water. Their technology cleans and recycles wastewater from semiconductor manufacturing, reclaiming valuable chemicals like isopropanol while reducing water use in one of the driest regions on the planet. If scaled, their systems could recycle hundreds of thousands of gallons annually at fabs like Intel and TSMC — cutting costs and emissions while bolstering U.S. supply chain security. Backed by Arizona State University and the Arizona Commerce Authority, Purity is proving that Arizona innovation doesn’t just build chips — it makes them more sustainable. This is exactly the type of bold solution we’re proud to spotlight here at Silicon Oasis. The future of semiconductors — and water — is being built right here in the desert. 🌵💡
