AZ’s Drive Health Raises $15M to Expand AI Nursing Nationwide
Another Arizona health-tech win is taking shape — and it’s happening right here in the Silicon Oasis. Gilbert-based Drive Health has secured $15 million in new funding led by Vitalis Ventures, with participation from Inside Capital Partners, bringing the company’s total capital raised to more than $26 million since launching in 2022.
The funding will support the national rollout of Nurse Avery, Drive Health’s AI-powered virtual nursing assistant. Nurse Avery is designed to support patients around the clock, handling tasks like chart reviews, discharge guidance, appointment scheduling, and multilingual patient questions — all while helping clinical teams reduce workload and improve continuity of care. Built on Google Public Sector’s secure cloud infrastructure, the platform is HIPAA-compliant and already being deployed inside hospital systems. Drive Health plans to expand Avery’s clinical workflows, deepen health system integrations, and grow its team as it prepares for a Series A round in 2026. The raise also includes a follow-on tranche closing in early 2026, with a Vitalis Ventures executive expected to join the board.
As Arizona’s startup ecosystem matures, companies like Drive Health highlight why the Silicon Oasis is becoming a national hub for applied AI and healthcare innovation.
