Arizona's Bearing Raises $4.5M to Modernize Physical Security
Arizona-based Bearing has raised $4.5 million in an oversubscribed seed round to expand its physical security operations software built on the ServiceNow AI Platform.
The funding round was led by AZ-VC, with participation from High Alpha , PHX Ventures , and Lightbank . Founded to modernize physical security operations, Bearing’s software is designed to centralize incident management, asset data, and workflow automation within the same enterprise system many Fortune 500 companies already use to run IT, HR, and risk operations. By building directly on ServiceNow’s AI infrastructure, the company aims to eliminate the fragmented dashboards and disconnected tools that have long defined physical security teams. The platform integrates alerts, guard reports, and response workflows into a unified environment, supported by AI agents that can triage incidents and coordinate actions across departments. With the new capital, Bearing plans to grow its team and deepen automation capabilities as demand increases for more integrated approaches to managing physical and digital risk.
