Arizona Sustainability Alliance’s Annual Celebration
On Friday, November 7(9 AM–1 PM), the Arizona Sustainability Alliance (AZSA) will host its Annual Sustainability Celebration at Liberty Wildlife in Phoenix — bringing together more than 100 community leaders, innovators, and advocates to explore how conservation and collaboration can shape Arizona’s future. Under the leadership of CEO Sotiria Anagnostou, AZSA is building bridges between science, education, and civic engagement to make sustainability actionable in every neighborhood. This year’s theme, “ Conservation and Community Science , ” highlights practical ways Arizonans can protect local ecosystems and reduce the effects of rapid growth. Attendees will hear from experts including Dr. Alycia de Mesa (ASU), Dr. Challie Facemire (Desert Botanical Garden), and Juanita Armstrong (Maricopa County Parks & Recreation), participate in a hands-on “Bio Blitz” activity, and meet Liberty Wildlife’s animal ambassadors — all while connecting with people who care about Arizona’s environmental future. Tickets are $75, including breakfast and lunch, with proceeds funding AZSA’s efforts to plant trees, educate youth, and build green-career pathways. Reserve your spot: https://luma.com/s81pmd3r
