Arizona Showcases Its Innovation Ecosystem at InnoVEX 2026

Arizona's innovation ecosystem took the global stage this week at InnoVEX 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan, one of Asia's largest startup and innovation conferences held alongside COMPUTEX.

Led by Arizona Commerce Authority President and CEO Sandra Watson, Arizona's delegation hosted "The Innovation Oasis – Arizona," a showcase highlighting the state's growing startup ecosystem, venture programs, technology workforce, and international partnerships. The event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, and government officials from both Arizona and Taiwan.

During her remarks, Watson emphasized Arizona's momentum as a destination for innovation, entrepreneurship, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, aerospace, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Presentations throughout the event highlighted startup support initiatives such as the Arizona Innovation Challenge, Venture Start, and Arizona Tech Week.

A key moment of the event was an MOU signing ceremony focused on strengthening collaboration between Arizona and Taiwan's startup ecosystems. The partnership aims to create new pathways for startup growth, cross-border investment, technology commercialization, talent exchange, and market expansion opportunities between the two regions.

Arizona's presence at InnoVEX reflects the state's increasing role in global innovation conversations. As Taiwan continues to be one of Arizona's most important international partners, relationships like these help connect Arizona founders and startups to new capital sources, customers, and international markets.
