And they’re doing it differently. 🏥 Why This Chapter Matters Despite Phoenix being one of the fastest-growing bioscience hubs in the U.S. — backed by ASU, UArizona, Mayo Clinic, the Phoenix Biomedical Campus, and Connect Labs — there hasn’t been a dedicated space for AI innovation in healthtech , medtech , and biotech . Until now. Anisia and Rob are bringing a hands-on, builder-first approach to the scene — no lectures, no fluff, no gatekeeping. Just real work, real skills, and real community. 🔬 What to Expect The Arizona chapter will launch with: Demo Days for early-stage AI founders Hackathons focused on health + life sciences Live workshops on UI/UX, coding, and tool-building A space where both technical and non-technical builders are welcome A focus on learning-by-doing , not just watching panels Whether you’re just curious or actively building, this is about democratizing access to AI — and making sure Arizona is part of the global conversation. 🤝 How to Get Involved Want to support? They’re actively looking for sponsors , especially platforms and software companies looking to engage the community.
Want to help build? They’re looking for a third organizer to round out the founding team — ideally someone with a unique lens or background. 📍 Events launch this September. Rob will be leading the local charge while Anisia ramps from California. 🌐 Learn more about The AI Collective at www.aicollective.co m 📬 Want to stay in the loop on Arizona’s emerging tech leaders ?
