The project is expected to create 4,000 jobs and expand U.S. capacity in an area long dominated by Asia.
The facility will focus on advanced 2.5D packaging technologies for high-performance computing and consumer electronics, positioning Arizona as a critical hub for semiconductor resilience. Amkor will also partner with Arizona State University and local colleges to strengthen the region’s workforce pipeline.
