Agoge Clinical Trial Confirms Zero THC Detection in Hemp Protein Study

Arizona-based startup Agoge has reached a major milestone, announcing results from its first human clinical trial validating its THC-free hemp protein.

The study, conducted in partnership with Arizona State University and the National University of Natural Medicine, tested 25 participants over a 30-day period. Each participant consumed Agoge’s organic hemp protein daily—and the results were clear: zero detectable THC across all subjects.

Beyond confirming safety for athletes and professionals subject to drug testing, the study also showed no serious adverse events and normal lab results throughout.

With additional certifications including NSF Certified for Sport, Agoge is helping remove long-standing barriers around hemp-based nutrition.

This milestone positions the company at the forefront of an emerging category—bringing credibility, data, and trust to hemp protein as a viable, scalable solution in sports nutrition and beyond.
